Hey everyone! We are now sanctioned by the AYYA and NYYL! Last night we received the 100 dollar sponsorship for first prize from Montgomery Trucking! We also have recieve a whole load of yoyo bags from yoyosam already. This is going to be a great prize haul for the winners. Make sure you've set aside time on June 14th to make it to the contest, you'll be glad you did!

We Are SET! The contest is going to be at the Emmett, Idaho annual Cherry Festival. Last year they counted over 40,000 different spectators over the four day festival and they are expecting even MORE this year! Because of the finalization in the venue we had to move the time to earlier in the day. We will be having the contest starting at 10am - Noon on Saturday the 14th of June. We're planning on the award ceremony being at a BBQ or Pizza Party right after the contest, probably in a different location in the park. This detail will be worked out ASAP. So keep checking back for more information! :).
Also! KeyBank is sponsoring the 3rd place winner of freestyles with $50. ActionCoach of the Treasure Valley is sponsoring 2nd place with $75! We're working out a sponsor for first place, which will be $100!!! So you better start setting plans to make it to the contest; this will definately be worth your time!

Also, we're still working on having the Cherry Festival of Emmett, Idaho as the contest venue. If this becomes the venue we'll have a two-hour slot for the contest which means we'll have 2 minute freestyles and might have to bar competition in both sports ladder and freestyle. Depends on how many people attend.

We've been looking into a possible alternative venue, The Emmett Cherry Festival; It has an unbelievable spectator count for their stage, has lights and sound systems with it and would have a really good response by the public. More info later. In other news we have a new sponsor and two potential sponsors, TheYo.com, Key Bank, and The Eagle Toy Store, respectively.

We have finally chosen a venue, the Gene Harris Band Shell in Julia Davis Park; the location we used in 2005. The venue is reserved for our contest while we work on the paperword to use it. We're also looking into have a special edition yoyo for this contest but that is dependant on getting artwork done. We will be having a contest for a logo design for the Championships, more info on that later.

Hey everyone! We finally have some judges lined up! Dave Bazan, John Bozung, and Russ Bean. Duncan and CLYW just came on board as sponsors. Things are starting to get exciting and we aren't even close to the contest date yet!
